My name is Jim Clark, and I am Amy Alexander's soigneur/mechanic/boyfriend. Also friends with Erica Chard. I was growing up just down the road from Chapel Hill when there were employment ads in the papers for this new bike company named 'Performance.' Seemed like a nutty idea at the time, a mail-order bike company... fast-forward a couple of decades, and now my partner is racing for a Performence-sponsored developmental team. My aunt, Ann Harvel, has worked for Performance since its infancy. Good luck to all the SpokesWomen this year, I look forward to supporting you at the races.
